Susy is a licensed Physical Therapist and Postural Alignment Specialist certified by Egoscue University After receiving a masters in physical therapy from Duke University, she started her physical therapy career working in Pediatrics and Neurology at the University of Virginia Hospital. During that time, she gained an in depth understanding of the power and the ability of the body to recover from severe injury, trauma and disease. After suffering a back injury, she shifted to working in an orthopedic outpatient setting and spent years developing manual therapy skills with emphasis on treatment of the spine. She added the Certification as a Postural Alignment Specialist with Egoscue University in 2007. Her current practice utilizes the skills she has developed in each of these areas of practice.
