Thank you for choosing Brow Babes Studio Orange County! I look forward to meeting you and getting your brows right. I ask that you have followed the guidelines that we recommend for each procedure. Otherwise, the result of Microblading, Shading, and/or Microshading may not be as desired. Please be reminded that this service is a semi-permanent tattoo and the pre and post aftercare should be taken note of.

- Please take note of any and all contraindictions before booking -
- Must be 18+ and can show authentication if needed
- Cannot be pregnant or nursing
- No sunburn or tan 1-2 weeks before appointment
- Cannot be prone to keloids or have a history of getting keloid scars
- Cannot have cardiac disease or suffer from any heart conditions resulting in medication
that will thin the blood (must be approved by Doctor (note required))
- Cannot be diabetic unless regulated and approved by Doctor (note required)
- No known allergies to latex, nickel, iron
- No known bleeding disorders
- Not recommended for individuals with contagious and/or viral diseases and if so, must
be on medication and advised to inform your technician
- Do not have a history of medication use such as blood thinners
- Prone to seizures
- Must wait at least 1 month if the brow area has had recent botox/filler injections
- Chemotherapy within the last year (Doctor's note required)
- Accutane/acne medication use must be regulated and discontinued 6-12 months before
appointment (Doctor's note required)
- Discontinue use of AHA/HA (retin-A) products 2-3 weeks before appointment
- No chemical peels, laser, or any facials 2 weeks before appointment
- Are able to discontinue caffeine and alcohol consumption 2 days before appointment
- Must be approved by Carah before booking any cover up sessions for individuals with
previous microblading and/or shading

Microshading is a combination of microblading and shading to create either a soft, yet natural brow look or a complete makeup look. This service is ideal for candidates with normal to dry skin types. This look is created with small, micro cuts in the skin with pigment to resemble the look of real hair. Shading helps add the fullness to the brow- helps camouflage the microblading in with your real brow hairs. Shading also helps the brow hold up longer than if you were to have just microblading

In this course I will be teaching you a beginner's guide to microblading and shading. Microblading is a compilation of faux hair strokes created by a small blade to mimic real hair strokes. When done correctly the brow can heal to a beautiful more full complete brow. Adding shading can create density to give brows the fullness it may be lacking. When combining microblading and shading, it is combining the best of both worlds as some client's may not be candidates for microblading alone and some clients may not like the look of ombré shading alone.

Although there are many different methods of microblading and shading, I will be teaching you my tips and tricks to how I create beautiful brows with my microblading and shading technique.
