NASM Certified Personal Trainer
NASM Corrective Exercise
Focus: Instructing members on proper lifting techniques, proper nutrition and hydration needs, as well as providing instruction to strength training, HIIT, barbell/free weights, injury and prevention and recovery. I have experience with various conditions including ACL tears, muscle sprains and tears, osteoporosis, diabetes, L4/L5 herniation, cancer (current and remission), knee replacement recovery, and severe vertigo. I’ve helped members train for and pass the Army and Air Force fitness tests, as well as the fire fighter fitness test (CPAT).
Personal Bio: I’m a retired U.S. Air Force Navigator and Electronic Warfare Officer/Tactical Coordinator with just over elven and a half years of service. In my spare time when I’m not strength training, I love spending time with my wife and 2-year-old daughter Emma, who loves going to the zoo to see the Lemurs! I go fishing when I can and I have a wonderful time making scale model aircrafts. Especially WWII and Vietnam era planes. I am now expanding my hobby to include model wood ships. It keeps me busy!
